In Process

A Movement Creation Lab Series

In an effort to bridge the gap between the pre-professional and professional dancer, I have designed an immersive weekend exploring contemporary dance and improvisation as tools to build a shared movement vocabulary. This workshop is part of the early research phase for an eventual evening-length choreographic work. Open to pre-professional and emerging dancers, the lab focuses on process, experimentation, and co-creation—and culminates in an informal studio showing.

The first series took place at Dance Mixx in Tinton Falls, NJ on August 2nd + 3rd, 2025, with plans to return in the winter.

In Process: FATALE

The second iteration of this creation lab, titled In Process: FATALE, took place on December 28, 29, + 30 2025 at Dance Mixx once more. This time, we dove deeper into the character, scene-structuring, and movement vocabulary of my eventual evening-length dance-theatre work, FATALE. We were joined by musician and composer Michael Gilch, who will be creating the original score for this work.
